Judy was my best friend from church when we were kids, Alice was my other Mother, and Sherry was the younger sister who lit the candles for my wedding.

Family Events

My grandaughter Sara and her dance partner Shannon preformed at the Indiana State Fair in the Senior Dance Competition. The girls did a great job (my pride and joy)!

1.) The Lewis reunion 2007 took place at the Eagle Creek Park, Indianapolis - family came from Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Alabama for the day together. A good time was had by everyone. I took this photo so am not in the picture. 2.) On our way home we stopped at Cracker Barrell for a relaxing time before going our seperate ways. The Lewis boys and their Mother are pictured here at the checker board following dinner.

Mom at 80 with Family

We celebrated my Mother's 80th Birthday on June 23rd, 2007. We are so happy that she is still with us and able to be out for her big birthday bash.

Mom in the lilac outfit, is surrounded by her sister Helen, brother Homer Jr., and his daughter Diana. So great that three siblings remain of the original 10 Craig brothers and sisters.

My sister Nancy and her husband Chia Shan were present prior to leaving for a trip to Taiwan where she is teaching ESL classes, and her husband is visiting his family and former college claassmates there for the month of July.

Mom and her grandkids - some of which she helped raise and who still call her both Mom and Grandma. She has given much love and life to these kids - my oldest brother Michael's family.

Rachael and Michaele' are two fantastic granddaughter to Mom. Rachael fixed Grandma's hair and Michaele' helped get Mom to the church and back for her 80th birthday party.

Michael and Janice Hughes - Mom's oldest son - my brother attended the party. It is always good to have the family together. I appreciate all of my family.

Farm House Renovation

Right now we are working on landscaping the farm house which we have been renovating for several years. Progress is slow but we are enjoying making the old house a home. The porch roof will be two stories tall with colums, and the bricks are for the porch floor. We are also working on a brick sidewalk out to the barnyard.

Tour of Troy

Today I traveled through Troy, Ohio on my way back from a meeting in Springfield. I could not resist taking some pictures for my blog site of some unique travel sites I saw in Troy. The city has airplane replicas posted on poles throughout their downtown area. I like this flyer as it appears to be taking flight over my car. I really love aviation.

I also saw a strawberry painted on their sidewalk from the strawberry festival, and a neat fountain near the courthouse and library or city building.

Country Nursing Home - Valley View

I have had the priveledge of serving an interim assignment at this nice little country facility, but am now at my long term assignment in a larger facility closer to home.

Palm Trees and Fires

Florida fires in the swamp areas were evident from the road side as we traveled north from Miami - the smoke was thick and made it difficult to breathe comfortably in the car since we had to turn off the vent system to avoid intake of smoke. We were glad to get north to our destination that night, but found smoke and fire in Georgia too when we arrived there a couple of days later.

Prayer Journal

Amazing survival - One of our church members survived this very serious accident. Sparky - somebody was riding with you! God and his angels were in that cab with you, and some other angels came along to help you during your time of distress. Our prayers are assending to heaven on your behalf for complete recovery! Our sons wedding was pulled together in a short period of time so they could celebrate their Christian wedding vows at our church while they were here for the Christmas season. The music was incredible including a great pianist, vocalist, instruementalist, and the bride and groom sang too! What a wedding to remember!
